MISSION PROJECT FOR CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF PHILADELPHIA

               Jan. 29, 2012 is our Mission Sunday. We are making activity kits for Shriners Hospital in Philadelphia. Help us share with others!  

                                  We are collecting NEW:

                                                                    - coloring books, boxes of crayons (6/12/24), Markers, Playdoh

                                                                    - Modeling Clay, Smal craft kits, journals, window clings, window markers

                                                                    - Books, DVDs, sports paraphernalia, baseball hats, socks, slippers, t-shirts

                                                                    - Hairbrushes, hair accessories, toiletry items: shampoo, soap, lip balm, etc

                                                                    - Crossword puzzles, worfinds, etc, Games, playing cards,

                                                                    - Small electronics, scarves, hats, gloves, small stuffed animals

                                                                    - small Lego kits, cars, dolls or other small toys

Rising Son Kidz Worship Sundays 9:00-9:30am We invite all children in kindergarten through 5th grades to join us on Sunday mornings during the Celebration Worship Service. Meet in the sanctuary for kids-only praise and worship from 9:00-9:30am. A typical service includes: Welcome, with pictures from previous Sunday  Celebration of monthly birthdays  Praise songs with hand motions Prayers Offering/Thanksgiving Scripture reading Message Communion (once a month) Benediction At the end of the service students are shepherded to their classrooms by their teachers and helpers for Sunday School. Note: Preschool students (ages 3-4) meet in Room 1 during the entire hour, 9-10am.

Sunday School Sundays 9:30-10:00am & 10:30-11:30am We teach students to Live B.I.G. (Live by Believing in God). Our dynamic curriculum teaches kids the gospel message of Jesus Christ by engaging them through:  DVD presentations Prayer & Bible memorization Crafts & games Music During the Celebration Service:  Students report to the following rooms after Rising Son:: - Kindergarten: Room 2 - 1st grade: Room 3 - 2nd grade: Room 4 - 3rd grade: Computer Room - 4th-5th grades: Library note: Preschool students meet in Room 1 at 9am At the Classic Service, we offer a full-hour classroom-style program and students are divided in the following rooms: - Preschool to Kindergarten: Room 1 - 1st to 3rd grades: Room 2 - 4th to 5th grades: Computer Room
